Bean Plant Lab — RESULTS!!

After a week of observation, our “little scientists” worked together to answer the investigative question: “Does the position the bean is planted affect the growth and direction of the roots?” As a whole class, it was concluded that no matter what position the bean is planted, the roots will always grow downward. Why is this you ask? GRAVITY is what forces all roots to move downward, despite any other factors at play.
